4 Days Post Op and I.......

Hi Everyone! I got banded on Tuesday. Had a hernia repaired while they were in there. Very small hernia. Today it was 80 and beautiful here in North Carolina. I couldn't resist working in the yard. I ddin't pick up anything over 10 pounds. But let's face it, at 257 pounds getting up off the ground does result in some pulling. DID I HURT ANYTHING??? Nothing hurts except for the incisions and the occasional gas bubble near the band. Once in a while I get a port pain. For me working in the yard is taking it easy. I am worried to death. Everyone fussed at me throughout the day and told me I'd end up back in the hospital. I feel great.

I'm going to be banded this upcoming Wednesday. From what I've been told by fellow bandsters, early moving makes a huge difference. Hey I live in North Carolina too! I'm in Greenville! Where are you?

I'm in Greensboro!! Hey - not bad at all. You go to sleep and wake up a little uncomfortable. Gets better every day.

Glad to hear that! I've got family in Greensboro and Winston...You're kinda right up the street! It really was a pretty day today!
