Pulling and Soreness

I am two weeks out from being banded....is it normal to have lots of pulling and soreness where my port is attached? I think it is where the port is however, I can't feel it. I assume it is the port. Does this mean a possible flip? I am flipping out. I should probably say I am trying to be careful but I have a set of two year old twins,,,,,

Help.....

Help.....

Yes it is.That and the shoulder pain is what hurt me the most.I am not a doctor,I don't think your port flipped it is just the stitche's pulling but you should call your Doctor if it is making you worried.I have been banded almost a year and lost close to 120 pound's and my port get's sore if I eat a little too much or I have a lot of gas.I hope that help's.

I have been banded almost 3 weeks and I only eat 1/2 to 3/4 cups at a time and my pain is rough. From what I have read and what people have told me when I posted the pain we are experiencing is normal! The port is attached by sutures in to the muscle and it can take up to 6 months to fully heal! I am using my heating pad a lot which helps. Good luck

TOTALLY NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM 2 MONTHS POST OP NEXT WEEK AND IT JUST STOPPED BEING SO SORE 2 WEEKS AGO..... IT DOES HURT WHEN I DO A LOT OF BENDING OR PICKING UP...... GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!laugh.gifrolleyes.gif
