I am 2 months post op and have gas every day, tons of it, it's annoying and I cant hold it in, I also feel the urge to poop all the time, Any suggestions, I am over the gas...... Sorry for being gross!!!!

I will be curious to see if you get any tips. I am 1 month out and have noticed a lot of gas too. I know what you mean about not being able to hold it in. I am just really really glad that I have my own private office at work or I would be in trouble!! I am not used to dealing with this because before surgery I was not a gassy person at all.

I hate to tell y'all that it's probably not going anywhere! It's crazy because as much research as I did I never heard about permanent gas. Before surgery I had gas maybe a couple times a week now it's all day everyday. Thank God I have my own office. It's sometimes painful. I asked the PA about it and she told me that for some patients it never goes away, but if that's a side effect of amazing weight loss, well, I guess I'll take it.

I have become a gassy person. I don't think I was very gassy before surgery. You can try Gas Ex/Beano they have for the whole day pills.

He is just jealous. They always think they are the best in this division and if we start one upping them.....they just need some time to adjust. LOL
