I have been thinking about Lap Band for some time but have decided to get serious about it. I am in Canada and I know there are differant criteria up here. So, I am 57 years old and have struggled with weight most of my life. I had a hysterectomy,quit smoking and am up to 238 pounds now. Looking forward to learning all I can

I am 57 too. I had my surgery in November and I'm so pleased with the results so far. Good luck in your journey!
