Lyrica?

I have fibromyalgia and my doctor suggested Lyrica to me today. She also said it may cause weight gain. Oh, HELL NO! I'll try it, but the minute my weight loss slows, I'm off it.

Has anyone here had any experience with Lyrica?

I was on it before I had the lapband surgery. And I gained a lot of weight. When I started complaining about the weight gain my dr. changed my medication to cymbalta, but then that made me so sleepy all day. Once I had the surgery my pain stopped so I stopped taking the medication. I am sure once you start losing weight the pain will stop. Good luck.
