Banded Today!!

So I did the pre-op diet for 2 weeks. I lost a total of 27 pounds. So I'm doing good. I was banded early this morning, minimal swelling and so far it's not to painful.

So I have a question, I was told it's uncommon to loose weight your first month? Is that true?

It's not uncommon to lose weight in the first month as long as you stick to the rules. You have to remember though you will be pretty hungry just like you were pre band so it can be a big battle with the will power to control your calorie intake.. at least for most people this is true.

Congratulations to you!!

Everyone is different, but I lost 20 pounds the first month.
