OMG surgery wednesday

Hello all out of curiosity how many lapband surgeries has your surgeon done. Mine has done 600 plus. However I don't know if that's a good number or should it be higher. I'm suppose to be banded on Wednesday and of course now three days before I start to freak out and question everything. I do know the hospital is a center of excellence and probably one of the best hospitals in nj. Any info would be so greatfully appreciated.

I have no idea how many mine has done...600 is a good number, that's enough to certainly know what he/she is doing.

It's pretty normal to freak out and question everything....just keep in mind that. And if they are a center of excellence that is awesome. That means they have been monitored and audited on not only surgical outcomes but patient care and followup as well. Sounds like you are in good hands.

I'm not sure how many my Doctor has done; my surgery is scheduled for Wednesday as well and I'm feeling a little nervous right now. I think it's all normal.

Good Luck Wednesday!!!
