Hello to all my lap-band buddies! I am new to this forum, and I am new to the lap-band itself. I had my first doctors appointment with Doctor Bali of South Charleston, WV and I love him he seems to be a great doctor. I am happy to get the process moving and trying to move it forward fast as possible, but I do have the six month insurance steps so I am doing those and not complaining because that just means in six months I will be on my way to a new lifestyle and I can not wait until the new me starts to come out! Congrats on making the first BIG step!! Personally the first dr visit was my biggest problem I was nervous and kind of ashamed. I don't know everything about the band yet as I was just banded 1/17, but if you have any questions I'll be happy to try and answer them. This is a great site it has helped me alot in he last month! Hi! I'm new to the whole process as well. I got to my first appt on aug 9th! I'm so nervous!!!

Hi, I had to do all the 6mth insurance stuff too. I have everything done, but my last PCP visit 8-30.Yeah!!!

Just wanted to tell you the time will go by fast. This is a great place for info & encouragement.
