need to lose lbs FAST!!! Help

Okay so I'm waiting for insurance approval....one of my conditions was to quit smoking, which I did....its been a month now and I put on 13 lbs ontop of the ten I was supposed to lose before my last consult with surgeon and scheduling surgey. I'm freaking out! Anybody else have such a hard time losing pre op weigh right after quitting??? : (

Yes! I'm right there with you. Quitting smoking seems ti halt weight loss. I am doing a VERY low carb diet right now pre-op. Below 30 carbs a day (very difficult to do). I am also awaiting approval from insurance and want to be prepared when I get approved and be able to schedule my surgery asap.

The low carb seems to be working for me. I'm down 4 pounds this week. It's the only thing that is working for me as far as losing that pre-op weight.

My Dr had do the liver reduction diet . I just drank special k drinks and had a salad for lunch and lost 10 lbs in 10 days
