Newbie in Ohio

I just found out my surgery date is 2/14/11. I'm having it done in Cincinnati, OH at Journey Lite by Dr. Curry/mobley. Has anyone had their band surgery done here. Any advice, opinions? Thanks!

Welcome!

We're neighbors! I had my surgery done at the Cincy wt loss center. I live in the Dayton area. You have about the same amount of weight to lose as I did. It can be done! :) I'm four years out and maintaining around five pounds from my "goal". I won't say that it's been easy, but I will say that I never could have done it without my band. Just be prepared to go in a lot for fills on schedule so your weight loss doesn't stall.

Good luck on your journey!
