  1. Hiatal hernia repair during lap band surgery

    I was banded on Monday 2/14/11 and I had a severe hernia repair. I've been on nexium for 4 months pre-surgery. I usually have a high tolerance to pain but this is over the top. I am surprised I still feel so much pain even with drinking the liquids and taking the pain meds. I hope it passes soon!

    I also agree! ...I have only told my Mom (because she is driving me to get the surgery tomorrow) and my husband. I don't plan on telling anyone else. I have enough to work on with myself without having everyone else's opinions thrown in. You know yourself and you have made the right decision. Don't doubt it !!!

    I just found out my surgery date is 2/14/11. I'm having it done in Cincinnati, OH at Journey Lite by Dr. Curry/mobley. Has anyone had their band surgery done here. Any advice, opinions? Thanks!
