Ab pain and exercise

So this week I went back to exercising regularly. I'm about 6 weeks out and pre-op I did a fitness boot camp to which I've returned (with the doctor's blessing). About 2-3 days after starting I got this nagging pain on the left side of my abdomin, a few inches away from my incision.

At first, I thought it may be the soreness of my muscles and its effect on either the band or the port. Now I don't know. It still may be, or maybe not. Anyone else had such feelings after ab or core exercises? If so, does your body get used to it.

(Note: I did mention it to my doctor, but here I'm just interested in seeing if anyone has experienced this and what if anything you've done about it).

I was banded on 11/29 and my port area is still sore. On a couple of occasions lately i have felt a stinging. I have done some bicycling at the gym a couple of times, but that seems to pull on the port area. I do not have any redness or swelling that I can can tell. I go in for my first fill on 1/26. Do you eventually feel as if it is not there?

Thanks

I was banded on 10/25/10 and after i do a hard zumba ab & toning routine, every time i am sore for days at that same spot. I had my 2nd fill scheduled for last week so i asked my Doc about it. He said that it's attached extremely well in there & he has only had one woman with the port becoming unattached & that was after a very serious car accident with abdominal injuries. He gave me the ok to keep going with the routines.

Yep, I did, nurse said it was the claws on the port pulling at the muscle it's connected to!

YIKES! That's just about how it feels, like something clawing at me. I will say that its now Friday and the "clawing" has sort of subsided since it started on Monday. Hopefully thats a sign that my muscles are getting used to the exercise. I've already paid for the bootcamp so I cant stop!
