Not sure yet.

Hi I am only 5foot and around 200lbs. I gained alot of weight when I had my son and being a stay at home mom just haven't been able to keep it off. I worked out most of the summer about 3 days a week and tryed to eat healthy. I felt better overall but saw no weight loss. I tryed the no carb stuff but couldn't stick to it. I am over all pretty health other than being over weight. My BMI is 39.1 just under the min. I am planning to have another baby this year. I am really thinking about getting the lapband done once I am all healed up and done breastfeeding the new one. Im just not sure. Any thoughts? Oh and a main reason I want to lose the weight is so I can get a breast reduction. I wear a 38 HHH bra. My doc has said he thinks its a good idea once Im done having kids and breastfeeding but he wants me to be much closer to an ideal weight before the reduction. For someone of my hight an ideal weight is between 95 and 110. I haven't been that small since middle school. IDK

I did a reduction 16 yrs ago and I was at normal weight at the time. Unfortunately, it made breastfeeding really difficult years later so it is good that you are waiting until after you have kids.

I got heavy about 12 yrs ago and let me tell you, my boobs grew back! I still think they are smaller than they would've been if I never got the operation and then got heavy but they certainly got bigger as I got bigger.

I wish you well.
