Flying on an airplane

Are there restrictions on flying before or after surgery, fills, etc? If you fly frequently with the band can it cause issues?

Flying with the band causes it to become tighter but it's temporary. I've flown several times since being banded and each time the additional tightness lasts around a day and then it's gone with no ill effects. Who likes airline food anyway? Just be careful to stay hydrated and you should be just fine.

Have a great trip!

Thanks,

I am considering the surgery right now and travel all the time for work which is why I was curious.

I have traveled with the band on flights as long as 3-13 hours and don't really have any problems. Sometimes my shoulder hurts a bit at take off but over all I can generally eat small mounts of certain things and drink liquids.
