Hello, my name is Monica i had the lap band done on dec. 20 2010, in dallas texas, with Doc. John Marsden, M.D.

I weighed 239 lbs 2 weeks before surgery, on the day of surgery my weight was 229 so that means i was 10 lbs down, i am now 11 days ppost op and i am still having pain on my left shoulder, is anybody out there who can tell me what to expect. i spoke with the doc. aide and she reasured me that it has to do with the gases. and that it should be gone in a few more days. any suggestions to control the pain
