  1. tuna two days post op seems weird..maybe you are getting the feeling of being stuck.. I was on liquids for one week post op but every doc is different...good luck
  2. i agree..I wish I had done it sooner... there are days I hate my band but I come back to my senses and realize I want to avoid emotions by eating,,,I think therapy has been so important,,,because I dont eat because I am hungry..I eat because I am sad, mad , lonely, happy...you name it
  3. 36 pounds since Feb is AWESOME !!! I have lost 54 since Dec 10 and am beside myself with joy...imagine if you didnt have the band....I know I would have gained at least 20 instead of losing....I wish you the best
  4. That is so awesome...I keep finding things in my closet that I have never been able to wear !! Anything that gets too big gets donated..I am not going back this time...currently a very comfortable 14 ,,,,SO HAPPY

  6. flying does affect my band...i get extremely tight and cannot eat until mid day...I always know where the restroom is and try to stick with soups if a business function...I retain alot of fluid and it takes a few days when getting home to be back to normal..I fly at least once a week so this has been a challenge
  7. i can eat anything..as long as it is 4 pm..my band and I dont like mornings no matter what I eat before 2 -4 pm...it comes back up

  11. mine is to the right and below my belly button,,,nurse told me on my first fill she had never seen on so low
  12. i had my surgery on a Thursday and was back to work the following Monday..although my job is not physically strenuos...I walked 2 miles on treadmill the day after surgery-helped get rid of gas...Good Luck

  14. how much excersing are you doing? CK levels can increase dramatically with alot of exercise.

  17. So Sorry to hear that...my port is almost exactly over my right ovary...last time I went in the nurse said she hardly every sees them that low...it is so weird how each of us have the same thing done but each one is different..
  18. I was banded on 12.16.10 and have had 2 fills. I flew the day after each fill, the only problem I have had is with hotel buffett eggs ...I dont know what they put in that pan of scrambled eggs but I got stuck. So no more hotel eggs No other problems
  19. i was banded on a Thursday and I too am a road warrior. I was on a plane on Monday as I had no time off available. I did ok but would have preferred to wait a few more days. I brought instant soup with me so I could get through security as well as have something to eat
