Hungry

I am 3 weeks post op Lap Band Surgery and for the past 3 days I am hungry. I eat lets say breakfast and 2 to 3 hrs later, I'm hungry and this has been the cycle. I'm worried because I weighed myself and I have gained 2 pounds :( I am not due to have a fill for another 2 weeks. Any ideas or suggestions for me.

Iam so glad you have wrote this as i came on this sight to see questions on this. iam also 3 weeks post op and very hungry and also gained pounds. I am worrying also as i have 2 and half weeks to wait until my first fill. I just dont feel any restriction at all at the moment ? anybody no have suggestions for us both?! thanks xxx

I feel your pain! I am a month post-op and am starving! My first fill isn't until January 7th. My surgeon and nutritionist told me to bump up my protein intake from 3 ounces to 5 or 6 ounces per meal. I eat 6 ounces per meal (three times a day) and am still starving. I think this a true test of our will power as we are in the so called "bandster hell" right now! Hang in there. We can make it!!
