Pain under right ribcage...

Hi Folks! I was wanting to get some input on a little pain that I can feel under my right ribcage at times. I feel like it is exactly where the band would be located, but then I looked at some diagrams and it seems like the band would be located to the left? Now I'm wondering if what I'm feeling could be gall bladder??? Nothing too significant, except once or twice I got TREMENDOUS pain that I attributed to being gas. It was located in the same general area and I took some gas x and it subsided within about 15 minutes. I was worried that my pouch was stretching, band was slipping, all of the above. Now I'm thinking gall bladder possibly due to the right sidedness of the pain. What do you think? I will of course, call my doctor if it gets really bad, but I just want to float the question out there for now :)

I've felt something "there" before when lying down on my back. It was sort of uncomfortable as well. I thought it was maybe the port line ? Not sure how that is run from the band to the port site, maybe not. But I have felt something there, I'm two weeks post-op today so. I haven't felt it in about a few days, it's gone away.

I had my gallbladder taken out about 5 years ago and it is pain like I've never felt before. The only thing I could relate it to was contractions from childbirth. It includes sharp pain between the shoulder blades, extreme heartburn, and sometimes chest pain. It comes on suddenly for a couple hours, then goes away until the next attack. I feel pain under my left ribcage sometimes, but that is where my port is, and at times I can feel the portline which is located on the left side also. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon :)
