I was nervous, wish I had just been excited instead because everything went GREAT and I'm so thrilled I did it! GOOD LUCK!!!

Awesome Renee !! I can only hope I am as excited as you. It feels like I will be at this point. I am at day 3 of a 14 day pre-op and down 9 lbs since Tuesday. 15 lbs total since October. Good Luck and be sure to let us all know how it went. :D

Doing great! I had NO pain until last night and even now it isn't bad. I have been taking the pain meds to prevent it, though (per my RN's recommendation). I did get a little light headed in the shower this morning, but that has been the worst of it. I am still telling MOST people that I had hernia repair surgery, but I may become more open about it as I progress.

BTW, I finally got a little bit nervous after the started the IV, but then they allowed my comic relief back with me (my daughter and her boyfriend) and that dissipated quickly.

Good luck to you all, no matter what leg of your journey you happen to be in.

Welcome to the other side  I wasn't nervous just excited to get it done and get through the weeks before my first fill. I like being on this side of surgery for sure!
