I recently started taking Vitafusion Fiber Gummies. They taste great too! They were slow to start working, but after a few days I have become more regular. The constipation was killing me! LOL I also take the Vitafusion adult vitatmins, like I said, great taste. I have tried other things in the past like Metamucil and Benefiber but it seemed they just got stuck. So I am now sold on the Vitafusion. That's my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

I'm a fan of Miralax (and its generic equivalents). I don't have a big constipation problem. All I need is 1/2 a dose every 3 days and things keep moving smoothly.

I'm so glad you brought this up. I have been having a lot of troubles going to the restroom. About two weeks ago, I went a week in between having a bm. I finally took some milk of magnesia, but I am wanting something to take to help me get regular. I have been mixing Metamucil in with my tea twice a day, but it doesn't seem to be working. I have been doing this for about a week or a little longer so I guess it takes time.

Where do you get the Vitafusion gummies? I don't recall seeing them at Walmart when I checked last weekend. Thanks!

Jessica, I bought my Vitafusion Fiber Gummies at Target. They weren't with the vitatmins, they were on the aisle with the Benefiber, Metamucil, etc.

I like Benefil as you can mix it into anything -- juice, soup, food, whatever -- I know when I'm on high protein I get this problem too -- I am a Shaklee fan as well, so if things really get difficult I take a couple of Herblax. Remember to keep drinking plenty of water all day and get your walks in as this helps too.

I love Miralax too and its generics but I also add a prune to my diet everyday. Prunes get a bad rep but they really do the trick. Also apples, peaches and grapes(you may want to avoid the skin on the grape but I have never had issue with it). Also adding more green leafy veggies works wonders for cleaning out the bowels and helping with constipation.

I have been constipated for many years, not sure why. I started with the vitafusion fiber gummies, and still had problems, so when I went to the gastroenterologist consult I told her and she reccomended miralax (well she gave me the perscription equivelent). But I have been taking it for like 6 months and it really helps. I take it 5 days a week, I find if I take it every day as recommneded it doesn't work so well. I am kind of hoping maybe the constipation has to do with my weight and once I lose it, I won't need it as much, but that is just hope.

I like the Vitafusion fiber gummies too. Costcohas the giant tub for about $16. I also like the big fiber tabs that are fruit flavored chewables. I got those at Costco too. I take 2-4 fiber chews everyday.

I'm always constipated! lol I find that if I don't take something at least every other day I will go days and days without having a bm. So as of recently I have been drinking sienna laxative tea(I mix with a tsp of honey and it doesn't taste bad at all) at bed time and I will have a bm when I get up in the morning.

So it's been about 2.5 days since my last BM. Was banded on Tuesday @ 3PM, last BM was Tuesday morning. I've been drinking nothing but protein shakes, and have started to feel better, but haven't had a BM. I've taken Colace yesterday and this morning. I definitely feel some gurgling, but nothing much else. At what point should I be concerned? I don't think I'm dehydrated at all, either...

Went out and bought some Mirilax and downed a capful with my soup and.... nothing ! It's just making my stomach rumble all sorts of something serious.. actually a little nauseous. This normal?

its been the same with me, lots of rumbles, nausea (don't know if its from the miralax) and the added bonus of diarrhea.....sad.gif
