bariatriceating.com. both lap band talk and bariatric eating are very informative and supportive website forums. i have enjoyed purchasing some products and talking to others that have gone through bariatric surgeries.

I LOVE bariatric eating. When I can't decide what I want to make for dinner, its my goto website for recipes. I also love reading all the blogs that I follow. Its great hearing the experiences of others.

Cast another vote for bariatriceating.com

I also very much like the smaller community at bandedliving.com

I love both www.bariatriceating.com and www.eatingwelllivingthin.wordpress.com. Linda's recipes have been a life saver for me since having surgery.

Youtube is another great resource. I also peek in on www.obesityhelp.com from time to time, although they can get a bit snarky for my liking.

Follow your doctor's instructions. You have to let yourself heal.

A word of caution about thinner times - great people, great info, but if you post something that someone finds less than perfect, you will find yourself at the other end of a written warning. it seems way too controlled for me - I left after one of the best and longest posters was flogged for a very neutral comment. I realize that all groups have rules for a good reason (I have moderated and run groups myself) but Thinner Times was in my view over the top and was losing quite a few people when I came over to this group. Just my two cents.
