I am on Mushys now as I have had no complications and feel GREAT! (Banded 11/22) My question is this... I know back preband - if I dieted hardcore - my stomach would 'shrink' or seem to as if I tried to eat regular again - I would feel full quicker. For example if you're sick for a few days and you don't eat and then your first meal after feeling better, you'd eat half the amount as normal.
Okay so I'm eating eggs and stuff and I feel sick if I go over a certain amount. If I eat more than a cup of food, I feel so overstuffed. (Like eating a whole dinner at Olive Garden - Pasta heavy feeling) Oh and I promise - I haven't eaten pasta. But I do love oatmeal. If I try to eat a whole packet - I feel really really full.
I know typically we don't have any restriction until the first fill and a few fills after that.
So is this 'only eating a cup at a time' thing just a case of the 'stomach shrinkage' or is it actual restriction?
Good Evening my band friends! I have a question.

Thanks in advance...
