Hi, I'm new. I'm struglling like hell with the pre-op liquid diet. Did anyone else struggle? I'm doing it, but it's brutal. I've got no energy. Just looking for some support out there. Getting my band on in 11 days --- I'm very nervous.

I'm new here too and my surgery is in 18 days. I go for my pre-op testing on the 30th and my pre-op dr's appointment on the 9th. When I got approved (almost 2 weeks ago), the dr's office called and set up all the appointments and told me that I have to go on a liquid pre-op diet too but only 3 days prior to surgery. I was curious as to how long they are requiring you to be on it and why so long?
