Any Advice??

Hi LapBand Friends! I just joined this site today. I have been banded since Feb of this year. I have lost 46lbs. I have been stuck since August. Not gaining, but not losing either. I went for a fill yesterday. I am up to 5.5 cc. I am not motivated to exercise!! I know I have got to do better with that. Any other advice on how to get over this hump!!

Exercise ,much as you dislike it is probably the answer.

You basically answered your plateau problem. . maintaining your diet only takes you so far if you're not pushing yourself and burning those calories off. I know just getting back into this this past couple weeks by exercising 5 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour . . and all I do is walk, has allowed me to maintain a steady weight loss.

Also, what's a common daily menu for you? Are you getting enough Water?

Wish you the best in your journey!

You answered your own question- excersise! It's ok to start out slow and gradually increase the time and/or intensity of your workouts. It's just too important not to do it. It really was a key in my weight loss of 107 pounds in 10 months. You can do it!

And keep getting your fills. For me personally, I didn't have good restriction until I had 7.5 CCs in a 10 CC band.

Nutrition and exercise are crucially important as well, of course. They will serve you well no matter what. But good restriction should make it a whole lot easier.
