I had a full-on verbal fight with a nurse about this the other day. I said I'd never get one and she said, "but what if you get in a car accident and get an abdominal wound"?...After she said that, I really couldn't help myself.

I think it's up to you entirely and if it makes you feel less anxious, then go for it. But I wouldn't wear a bracelett for boob implants and I'm not about to wear one for the LAP-BAND.

I wear one and personally I feel nekkie if i don't have it on. i make the pretty bracelet part and they look very similar to that. you can get all the stuff at a craft store or walmart. i'd rather wear one and be safe then sorry. and if i had a boob job then i'd prob put that info in it too. if you don't want anyone to know then you don't have to let them read it because it's on your arm. but if your able to talk then thats a different story all together. thanks for the link- they are pretty!!

I have one it's just a regular one that I have added to my weight loss charm bracelet...It says basically:

Lap Band

No NG tube

No NSAIDS

It's simple but gets to the point
