Hello!

I just wanted to say Hello!!

I am a military wife and the mother of a beautiful, almost 2 year old daughter. My surgery is scheduled for Nov. 13th. I am scared, but ready. I want to be a good example for my daughter, and I want to be the best me I can be. Diets and exercise just haven't done it for me, but I look forward to a new start as soon as I get my band!

Welcome to the journey Korilynn...this is a great site for information and support. Good luck to you as you begin your new life. I can't say its been easy, but getting the Lapband saved my life and changed it forever. Its helped change my 3 grown childrens habits...so hopefully they will never have to face the same problems I had prior to surgery. If you have any questions this is a great forum. Best Wishes, keep us informed of your progress!! ~Christy :frown:

Hi Korilynn! I'm on my way soon too (11/23), and I'm nervous and excited and mostly nervous. :frown: My husband has just started asking lots of questions, so I know he is getting used to the idea of it all.

Good luck, your surgery day will be here before you know it!

Hi :frown:

I'm a military wife with two kids and I am going to start the process for Lap Band once we PCS at the beginning of December. I can't wait!

Good luck with your surgery!
