I'm also new to the site. You are my first response, as I just completed registering.

That's great! I wish you well. My surgery went very smoothly. Other than the gas that they blow you up with, and you have to deal with for a few days after, I had no issues. In fact, it was like I hadn't even had surgery. I know everyone is different, but I hope yours goes as well as mine. You're in my thoughts!

How exciting to be so close to your surgery! Are you on a pre-surgery diet? It can be a great way to jump start your weight loss since it will be a while until the band actually starts to work for you. (That is, until you get restriction)
