i am 4 weeks post op also and have not lost any weight. i have gained a couple of pounds. i think it is because we just got off of the liquid diet and we are now eating. our body is adjusting to the band. From what i have read on this site that once we get adjusted we will start to lose weight. i will be adjusted on nov. 9th. i had my surgery 9/22. hopefully if we follow our nutrionists rules about eating we will start to lose weight. good luck.

Remember that it is normal not to lose weight at this point.

The real weight loss will begin once you get your fills and achieve some level of restriction.

Hang in there till then, it will get better!

Looking for someone to help me out on what to eat and what kind of workout I need to do.

I had my surgery in Feb 2010. I didnt start "LIKING" my band until July. I finally had restriction after 3 fills. Now im so in LOVE. Just hang in there it will get easier. In face I gained 15 pound when I came home from surgery.. all the fluids they give you in the hospital is the real reason you gain afterwards. Once your body gets used to this object in your body you will see results! TRUST ME.
