Port problems

Saw the Dr. today and he said that there is a possbility that I may need another surgery after I lose some more weight. He said the port might be to close to the surface and he may have to put it deeper. I would hate to have to go thru this whole thing again.

Mariasha: I really hope your right, but my Dr. said it would require another operation. He basically said everything would be the same as my surgery.

I had to have a port revision because mine was leaking 3 months after my first surgery. I was told that it was a defect to the port. The surgery that was very similar to the first one. The only diffrence was that they gave me a diffrent type of anethesia the second time. I was not aware of anything because I was asleep. It was a lot easier in the recovery room
