Incision Pain

I'm 12 days post-op and haven't had any pain for about 4 days other then at one of my incision sites. It's the one in the top right and it has both a pressure and burning pain to it at times. I still can't sleep on my right side because it hurts to but and feels like somethings pulling. I don't think it's infected because I've been keeping them clean and there isn't any color change or discharge. Any ideas?

Is it where the port is? And how have u been keeping them clean?

I was told to simply wash them when showering (no tub) and pat dry and do not rub. And not to put anything on them. I can't tell they are even there. Four days post op.

:blink:I have the exact same kind of pain only on the other side. I know it is where the port is because my general practitioner x-rayed my stomach to see if I was getting all the gas out and I saw it. It hurts for me when I bend over or when I move certain ways. It's like a pulling, burning sensation. It kind of scares me because I wonder if I'm pulling the port out or if there is something wrong with the way it is placed. Not an answer for you, but at least you know someone is experiencing the same thing you are.
