4 days post-op with rib pain

Anyone experience left lateral rib pain post op? I am actually having a hard time taking a deep breath. Feels like gas, however, GasX has not helped. All started while taking a walk. Feels like a side ache.

Any ideas?

i tell you man after surgery my breasts hurt felt like they used them to pick me up with. they hurt for a week

I also had breast pain, I could tell it was gas. I bet that is what it is, you are going to have to walk and move to get that gas absorbed into your abdomen and out of your body!

Does it hurt to take a deep breath and hold it in, also should rule out a blood clot in the lung.

Hopefully it is just gas!

OH yes I had that bad!!!! It was horrible but I started walking around a lot and it actually helped. It will get better!
