Are you getting up and walking? I had surgery for a slip on 9/21/10 and life is back to normal....walk walk walk....even if it just around the house, it will help to move the gas out of your system faster. Good luck...feel better soon!

Ihad my band put on 8/18 and still from time to time have that awful neck pain...sometimes even before I eat..I have asked my surgeon and he does not seem to know what I am talking about lol:eek:

I was banded on 9/21 and I had the same annoying neck pain. I walked everyday, took Gas-X, and still the pain. I got fed up because I had no incision pain, only the neck pain. But on the morning of day 10 when I woke up, it suddenly was almost gone. I wish I had a better answer why it left but hang in there!!

That was the worst part of the whole process for me. Mine lingered for about 6 weeks, but was diminishing the whole time. I am almost 2.5 months out from surgery and if I get stuck, I also feel the shoulder pain again. Sometimes I can just be "full" and feel it. I'm actually kinda glad for it, as I know it's my body telling me to stop whatever I'm doing! It is certainly not as painful as it used to be. At 10 days out I was still feeling it a LOT and was getting sick of it. Small trade-off now though, just have to get through it .
