Why can't I eat?

It's been a rough weekend. My last fill was early Aug. and now I'm having trouble eating foods I could eat 2 days ago. Eggs stuck yesterday and chicken. Tonight potato salad, deviled eggs and baked beans had trouble. Could something have happened. I'm hungry and unfortunately the stuff I shouldn't be eating is no problem.

When you say it's been a rough weekend is it because you had problems eating or were there other problems that caused you stress?

Stress can cause your band to tighten so the rough weekend may have triggered the eating problem.

sometimes that happens ,today you can eat everything then the next day the same food sticks, eat slower and make sure your food is moist add chicken stock mayo ,butter anything to make it smoother to digest. I just had a fill last tuesday and still can't eat solid foods, like meat, but nuts and icecream went down fine,it is so frustrating, other people have this problem too. good luck

Something may have irritated your esophagus, which may have swollen. Try a day of full liquids, then move back to soft foods and solids and see if that helps.

But yeah, some days I can eat anything, other days I can't. Fickle band!
