Good point. I should have made it for people who were, say...two years post-op or more.

Should I delete this and start over?

If you ok with that.?:0) I think its a great post as well. But since I voted & am only 5 months out the majority will be in the middle range. I would really love to know Sue about those out for a year or more & how their bmi are. Its such a healthy/motivating bit of information to have. Thanks for doing it.

I am at 30.6. I am so close to being below 30 that I can taste it. If I said I am satisfied I would be lying. I would be quite satisfied with a BMI of about 27. At least I think I would.

Not bad from a starting BMI of 47.

I started at 46, now at 35, eight months post op. My overall goal weight is just somewhere in the healthy or "normal" BMI range.

I am so thrilled that this thread focuses on BMI. When someone just posts their weight in pounds, I can't gauge the significance because I don't know how tall the person is. 200 pounds on someone 5 foot tall is considerably different than 200 pounds on someone 6 foot tall.

GREAT THREAD and very inspirational !!
