Cole slaw question

Has anyone had any problems eatting cole slaw? i ate some night before last and it just hasn't agreed with me at all. yes i also ate some baked beans but i eat beans alllll the time and they don't bother me at all. yest my tummy hurt and i was slightly bloated and gassy. last night finally took some gasx. today it feels like someone punched me in the stomach. i'm thinking probably because i am sore from the gas. so is this a food that bandsters have probs with or not? i don't know if this has anything to do with it or not but monday my dr changed my blood pressure meds from 20 mg down to 10 mg. it's a lower dose but don't know if it has anything to do with it. any advice is appreciated. thanks

I can't eat coleslaw anymore my band doesn't like it!

I haven't had a problem with cole slaw or broccoli slaw--which I eat a few times a week.

Maybe it is the change in meds...that's been known to mess with a tummy. Hope you feel better soon!

I don't think a decrease in your BP med would cause it. Most likely it was the coleslaw. Cabbage can produce a lot of gas and bloating! Hope you are feeling better!!
