My port has flipped, and after a very difficult and painful first fill, my doc could not access it at all for the second fill - even with fluroscopy and a local anesthetic. Not much choice left but to go back in and reposition it. I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow.

I would love to hear from anyone who has had this done. Looking forward to having it fixed and getting a fill...I am HUNGRY!

That sucks .. my port is sideways so the surgeon has to do my fills directly. My 1st fill is on September 15th so I am hoping everything goes ok.

Hi Michelle!!! Wow!!! Port Revision!!! I hope all goes well! Let us know how you are doing. As for me, I am doing great. I get my 3rd fill on tomorrow--which I am hoping will put me at my "Sweet Spot"...YAY!!!! Exercising is going well also!

How did you know that your port flipped? Was it discovered during your fill or were you experiencing problems prior?
