I can't resist the temptation

...to toot my own horn. No more blood pressure meds!!!!

I went into my surgery this past Monday (8/16) taking blood pressure medicine, and was ordered to stop taking that med the day after surgery. Ridding myself of these horrible and expensive BP meds was a long-term personal goal, but I can't believe it, as I'm prescription med free just one day after getting banded!

Even though I'm very hungry and considerably bored, my energy level is remarkably high and I'm nearly pain-free (I've only taken children's Tylenol). I expected some moments of regret, especially in the first few days, but so far, ZERO REGRET.

Congrats on being banded. I remember how excited I was to get off my BP meds, as well has diebetes and high colesteral. Keep up the good work!
