I pulled off all my Dermabond...

I've been itching since last Saturday but the itch was around my incisions and not the actual incisions. Well the itch got very, very bad and I noticed a rash around all my incisions. I know I shouldn't have but on Thursday I couldn't stand it anymore. I pulled it all off. My itching has now stopped and the redness is fading.

My incisions are completely closed on the inside but not on the outside. There are no signs of infection. I only pulled it off b/c I knew I had stitches on the inside so I wasn't worried about them popping open.

Anyway you think I could take a shallow bath now?

I've been putting prescription Bactroban ointment on them twice a day just in case.

Yeah, I agree with calling your Dr. You could really set yourself up for infection if you bathe with open wounds.

Good Luck!
