Getting ready to leave for Beverly Hills to have Dr Madan do the surgery. I have to admit I am a little nervous. I think my nervousness has overshadowed my hunger pains. This pre-op diet has been the hardest thing I have ever done. If all goes well I hope to be home this evening and back to work on Monday. I will try and post after I get home.

The surgery was at 1:30pm yesterday and i got home at 7:00pm. I found it hard to sleep on my left side but I was ok sleeping on my right side. I woke up every couple of hours due to the discomfort. I have been taking some pain medication and that helps. I do not feel hungry and have to remind my self to drink clear broth every so often. I definetly could not go back to work today. I go back for a checkup tomorrow and then again in 6 weeks.
