gas and nausea

I am one week post-op but having lots of gas and nausea any suggestions?

walking and gas-x strips. My doctor also gave me a prescription for Zofran. Maybe you can call the doctor and see if they will give you something for that.

I had terrible nausea post op, but it went away after 8 days. Just try to take it easy and rest until the swelling (of your stomach, with the band around it) goes down.

As long as you can keep some liquids down, I think you're okay. If not, or if it lasts much longer, call your doc.

I had horrible gas after surgery. It hurt really bad in my back and shoulders. It eventually went away. It will get better for you. Good luck!
