Chinese Egg Drop Soup?

With just having my surgery on Thursday,,do you all think it'd be okay to try some egg drop soup,,,and just strain it so the egg drops don't get in my bowl? I am tired of chicken broth and beef broth... :bolt:

I had some toward the end of my clear liquid hell- strained em just like you said and I cannot express how good I felt after eating it... I don't know if it was the fat or the protein from the eggs but I felt like a million bucks!!!

I did the same thing, it was one of my staples when I was on liquids, strained of course...actually tasted like FOOD...it was heavenly

LOL! I had it a couple of days out and I guess still under the medicine cuz I DID NOT drain it and it got stuck!!! :scared2:First and the last time!!! lol! So just drain the chunks!!!

Throw it in a Magic Bullet or blender to puree the egg whites so you don't loose too much protein from straining. I lived off the stuff for a week, so good! Be careful though, the first time trying it after clear liquids it gave me quite an upset stomach so sip just a little at a time.
