Congratulations to you! OMG can't believe we are about to change our lives. You are much younger than me. I am so excited for you. I am so glad you won't waste alot of time being unhappy with yourself like me! You Go Girl!!! I will be watching your progress :)

Just reading from other posts, I am very glad the steps that they take to prepare u for this change. The journey pre and post-op is still not the "easy" way out a lot of other ppl think. it will take time, dedication and disicipline. All these things are worth it to me. I have a beautiful 9 month old son that I would love to see grow into a man. on my current unhealthy course, i fear that may not happen. I am glad that technology is as advanced as it is. so i am glad we are both taking the time: NOW to seize this opportunity. stay in touch :)

Hi, I'm newly banded on July 12th so I am post-op 12 days. Doing well have lost a total of 11 lbs. Have had a problem with bloating and constipation last 4 days. But have now solved that with some OTC meds for stool softening. Feeling great now and very excited to start my journey. Jenece:lol:

Good for you! I have a 20 yr old Son and a 17 yr daughter. Because I was so heavy I have not been any fun. You are doing this at a great time for the right reasons. No this is not the easy way out and yes a lot of people think that. I had to stop myself the other day from starting another diet. Not good!!! We can do this! I will be able to sit on my husbands lap again. So many things I have not done over the years. I will make up for them all as soon as I can MOVE! :smile2:

Wow you did it!!! Congratulations! I am so jealous. I am so glad to hear you are doing well!! You must feel so relieved now that the biggest fear is over!

Thank-you for replying. Today was great my daughter (30) made me home made hamburger soup soft and mushy can't believe how little I am eating now compared to before I was never full!!! People never understood that either they think it is all will power, have had some negative looks etc... You understand, but look out now we will succed and yes we will sit on our husbands laps again. I have 2 boys to 34, and 35. They are all supportive and happy for me. Good luck.

Congrats Jenece. I think we will all b able to appreciate the little things when we r banded and now that u r Jenece i'm sure u do! What a blessing! :smile2: I can't wait to walk into a room and feel like eyes r on me for a GOOD reason lol

I used to model prior to giving birth to my son and was sooo excited b/c during pregnancy i LOST about 30 lbs. I looked great...soon the stress of new motherhood, being single, going to college full time and then back to work full time I have climbed to 310lbs since nov/dec 2009 - last time @ the doc office! I was mortified! I weigh more now than BEFORE, DURING AND RIGHT AFTER pregnancy. i just feel so depressed. I am an aspiring plus size model and working on getting down to a size 14...that is still my goal

So health, life (with our kids, significant others and fam/friends) and looking good. I think we can all agree to that ladies
