Lap Band Ad

Hi Everyone,

Still waiting for approval to join you in Bandland!! I live in New York, and during the evening news on one of our major TV stations there was an ad for Lap Band surgery!!!!! I was so excited to see that the word is finally getting out there so people will see they have options other than Gastric Bypass. Has anyone else seen this ad in their area?

Yes the ad is on TV here all the time. (South Dakota). My folks in Michigan said it runs on their local networks too. Makes me glad that the word is getting out!

haha that's funny. I haven't seen a TV ad but after my band my mother pointed out that it is on the back page of our tv guide every sunday...go figure

they run commercials all the time in Houston advertising Dr. Speigel, Dr. Spivak, and I recently saw one advertising 12 Oaks Hospital, which is where I had my surgery

I am a bandster because of the ad I saw this summer here in Cincinnati. I saw the ad and called the number, and just a few short months I am here banded, and 20 pounds down one week after my sugery. I think my pre-op diet helped boost that number considerably.

The word is definitely getting out!
