Howdy! I spent last week in Nags Head, NC with my parents, adopted sister (house #1), brother, SIL, 6 nieces/nephews (house #2), and another group of 8 that included 3 children under the age of 2 (house #3). As you are reading this post, I'm sure that you are re-reading the title of this post to verify that I did, indeed, have a great vacation. :yikes:
We went dolphin watching, climbed a lighthouse, shopped, swam, dined out, etc., etc. Even though the temps were at least 92 degrees or higher with a heat index of 105+ everyday, I was able to keep up without any problems!
I actually was not the largest person on the beach (or even in my group). It was a great feeling looking at the pics of my vacation and not being completely disgusted with my appearance.
PS~ I even lost 3 pounds while on my trip.
