left side and back hurts.

I am 7 days post op andmy left side hurts and also in my back is this normal. Is it gas.

If the pain comes and goes it is probably gas. I am 2 weeks post op and still get a few gas pains.

Also, if the pain does not go away in your back, I would call the surgeon. My husband had bad back pain in his back after knee surgery and he had a blood clot....so please if it is constant pain that doesn't go away call doctor....good luck!!
