No fills yet?

I was banded 5/14/10 and was wondering who else has not had a fill yet? I don't know if it's just what my doctor does or what.. Has anyone else went this long without a fill?

I was banded 3/2/10 and have lost about 50 lbs. I have had no fills and was told my band was not filled at the time of surgery. So you are not alone, and as long as you are losing I would say you are doing fine

Wow you are doing good, keep up the good work.. Thank you

Nope no fills yet and I was banded 5/14/10. I'm scheduled for the first one on 6/29 and I think that's 6weeks postop which seems to be standard. My doctor was going to push for 5 weeks but I will be out of town the following weekend and I didn't want to risk complications when I'm in a different state. I've been losing weight post op but that comes with some effort. I don't think I need a lot at my first fill for it to help me along.

My surgeon waits a minimum of 6 weeks between surgery and the first fill.

I was banded 5/17 and do not go for my first fill until July 6th! It can't get here fast enough!
