Evil plateau

I was banded in November. I have been losing pretty steadily 10+ pounds a month. I have been in the gym EVERY day for 1 or 2 hours doing kickboxing, bootcamp, interval training, spin, weight training, and jogging.

I had my gallbladder out last month and since then I have not lost 1 single pound!! I got right back in the gym after surgery(surgery was friday, was in gym on sunday).

I really cant see any way to increase my exercise so it has to be what im eating right?? So i have been keeping a food log and holy crap I have bben eating a lot and not even realizing it!!

Why am I doing this?? Do I need to have an adjustment?? I have never had one and I have always felt full after only a little bit, now not so much

I go for my appointment in a little less than 2 weeks< im embarrassed to go and show little to no loss:-(

It sounds like a combination of needing a fill and the rigorous exercise causing the hunger. How many calories a day are you eating? If the doc sees that you are not losing weight, that could be a trigger that you need a fill, maybe just a small one. If your portion sizes are getting bigger and you are not satisfied for at least 4 hours in between meals, my guess is that you need a fill.

(And don't worry--no loss is better than any gain!!!)

When I am being good and following the rules, I take in anywhere from 900- 1200 calories a day. I havent added it up over the last 2 weeks when i was being a sloth.

I have changed my exercise routine a bit and we'll see if that helps break this horrible stagnation!

Don't be embarrassed to go to the doc. If they are a good one they won't be judgemental. You will probably be surprised at how painless it is.

Heck you are doing great - I have not lost a pound in 3 months - not gained any either. I am disappointed to say the least. I am exercising and watching what I eat but the results just aren't there. I have a 10cc band with a 2.5 fill but I am still hungry. Anybody experienced this type of plateau? Banded in december - lost 21 lbs. I really thought I would be down 35+ lbs by now???:)
