I got my first fill today. I was so nervous! It didnt hurt at all! It wasnt comfortable when she was pressing on my stomach to find my port. She said I have some scar tissue so before she just poked me she wanted to make sure.

I asked how much she put in and she said about 1/4. Does that mean i now have .25 cc in my band? She said she only put a little bit in because I was still having pretty good restriction and I stay full.

So whoever is afraid that the fill is going to hurt, it doesn't AT ALL! I didn't even get the numbing stuff that some people talk about.

Glad to hear that. I have my first fill next week and I was worried it was gonna hurt. Glad you still have restrictions. I lost that 1 week after my surgery. I can't get enough to eat now and worried they won't put enough Fluid in to restrict me.

Im sorry to hear you have no restriction. It seems to be pretty common. I feel kinda lucky. It might take a few fills to get you where you need to be so dont get discouraged!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
