TMI Alert!!! Funky burps...

I'll apologize in advance. Since a couple days post surgery, whenever I burp, it is absolutely the worst funk you can imagine. I can taste it in my mouth and it permeates my surrounding area. It remains on my breath for 10 minutes or so. Ugh. Is there a reason for this? I've NEVER had this problem before.

Sounds like an acid reflux. Did you have a hernia repair also? Are you on any medication that might have an odd taste now with a burp? Remember your pouch is much smaller than what you're use to. But I would mention this to your doctor though. I'm just guessing. Get a professional's opinion if it keeps up. Feel better soon!

I too cannot burp.... almost 2 weeks post surgery and still not a single burp...
