Protein

I'm 4 weeks post-op and know that I'm not getting enough protein. I'm always running late, so I don't have time to blend up a shake every day. Does anyone have any suggestions for pre-made protein drinks and/or bars that are tasty. I've tried a few pre-made drinks that make me gag, and the same for the bars. Any suggestions?

Are you a coffee drinker? I put 1 1/2 scoops of vanilla Unjury protein powder and a no sugar added carnation instant breakfast (vanilla) in my coffee every morning. It adds up to 35 grams of protein in my coffee, and it really tastes good.

You have the same surgery date as me!!! Let's keep in touch!

I put my choclate premier protein shake in my coffee and it tasted really good. I didnt have to add any sugar or creamer or anything.. Though Im on the liquid protein diet pre surgery for two weeks so i cant anyway.. Im down 20 lbs in a week. Can't believe it. I am a bit hungry though..
